Before you start, I recommend to read the following pages carefully. In this brochure you will find very detailed information on what to look out for when using this product. You will learn how to use this product the right way and you will learn about all the signs you need to pay attention to. Although the method described in this brochure is quite simple, our procedure might seem unusual for some users due to its special handling.

I promise you, however, that the success of the use of this product is not type-specific

nor a matter of luck. Due to chemical processes, the treatment actually works for everyone!

So, follow this brief description and notice great results from the very first treatment.

This gentle callus and cuticle removal method is based on a simple principle and is actually very common in Asian countries. In the Western region, this method has been further developed and optimized for more than 15 years, with the following results:

Mr. Fuss keratolytic solutions soften any callus and cuticle area within a few minutes. In this state, the now softened areas can be gently pushed back and be removed with a blunt scraper.

No rubbing, no abrading, no cutting required. This way, you do not only avoid injuries, but you can also avoid the usual, unwanted side effects of conventional methods.

Ordinary instruments are rough or sharp and using them might cause irritations to the healthy skin around the callus and injures it, which causes an increase of the callus and cuticle area.

Similar to the well-known yo-yo effect occurring after a diet, the more callus is removed, the more callus and rough skin grows back. And a lasting result remains to be desired.

Mr. Fuss, however, makes the difference. Without the use of any abrading, rubbing or cutting methods you have the best chance of finally getting smooth and silky hands and feet.

PLEASE NOTE:

This procedure offers many advantages but is no miracle cure. Even if significant amounts of callus can be removed with the very first application, depending on the amount of callus present, multiple repetitions may be required to remove it altogether.

For best results, remove the callus layer by layer with this gentle method. If a lot of callus is present, apply this method once every 1-2 weeks. This way, the callus will be reduced gradually until only one application every 1-2 months or even less is required.

Take care of your healthy skin regularly. This supports the sustainable effect and contributes to a delayed formation of new calluses or cuticles. Use the care products of Mr. Fuss not only after the application, but also in between on a regular basis to support the natural skin functions. A regular care with the Mr. Fuss cream products is key for desired effects.

FOR A SUCCESSFUL APPLICATION FROM DAY ONE:

Important: Cold or damp skin reduces the effect of the solution. If necessary, warm your skin, e.g. on a heater. Allow your hands or feet to air-dry before use. Please do not wash your hands and feet before use.  

1. Give yourself some time for the application (especially when you are just starting)

2. Prepare everything you might need, since you will not be able to move around during the exposure time

3. When using this treatment for the first time, apply the solution on one foot

Everything you need should be in within reach. Find a comfortable place to sit down for about 30 minutes (for both feet).

In addition to the products, have a bowl of water for rinsing ready and keep a towel for drying and to protect against unwanted splashes on hand. 

Note: Not all Mr. Fuss offers include all the accessories. You can also do the application with commercially available cotton wool and use the back of an old kitchen knife or a similar blunt edge to start removing the callus, for example.

Take a thin layer of cotton, hold it onto the area of the skin to be treated and moisten it with the Mr. Fuss solution.

Press the moist cotton gently against the skin. For this, you can use the bottle base or the bottle cap to avoid your fingers getting in touch with the solution.

Take a piece of cotton the size of the area to be treated and divide it into very thin layers. The sole purpose of the cotton is to hold the solution onto the skin for the duration of the exposure time without absorbing the solution itself. By doing this, a maximum effect of the solution is ensured on the callus (cuticle).

The thinner the cotton, the less solution you will need!

If the solution is applied correctly, you can see the skin shimmering through the moist cotton.

If this is not the case, you have applied too little solution or the applied cotton layer is too thick.

After the duration of the exposure time the cotton layer should still be moist and the skin should still shimmer through the cotton wool. If the cotton layer became relatively dry, you can re-moisten it with the solution and wait for another 2 minutes. 

This usually happens when a lot of callus is present because it absorbs the solution like a sponge. Important: The extension of the exposure time without rehydration does not lead to an improved effect. It rather reduces the effect because the callus is getting dry already.

When you have moistened the cotton on the skin with the Mr. Fuss solution, give it some time to take effect. 

On the feet, the solution should have an exposure time of about 10 minutes. 

Simply put your feet up and relax, if you like.

Remove the cotton. 

The softened skin can now be removed in an easy and effortless way by merely pushing.

Carefully move the scraper over the treated part of the skin and repeat until no more skin mass comes off. 

After removing the callus, briefly wash off the treated areas with clear water. 

Tip: It is useful to have a bowl for a foot bath and if possible a carafe of water right at the spot.

Now you just need to lotion the skin and the treatment is done.

Important: Please do not underestimate this step for a sustainable and efficient treatment. We recommend a regular care (not just after use). 

Mr. Fuss has the right skin emollient for post-treatment and regular care. 

THE SAME PRINCIPLE BUT SHORTER EXPOSURE TIMES.

For the removal of cuticles, please follow the same steps as for callus removal.

Apply the solution on the cotton layer to be put onto the cuticle surfaces as mentioned before. Here, the exposure time is reduced to a few (about 2-3) minutes.

After the exposure time, remove the wet cotton and use one of Mr. Fuss’s special instruments or e.g. a cuticle pusher to push the cuticle gently away. 

Please always push from the nail bed to the outside and not the other way around to protect the nail bed from impurities.

Then briefly wash your fingers (hands) with water and lotion them with a suitable cream. Mr. Fuss provides just the right care products for this purpose as well.

Tip: Only treat one hand after the other. Beginners are advised to first treat just 1-2 fingers to get a feeling for the procedure. 

Mr. Fuss is guaranteed to work! But just like yeast needs certain conditions to work, there are a few things you have to watch out for to be successful:

The calluses and the solution must not be too cold. The calluses must be dry. If this is not the case, bring the solution and your calluses and cuticles to room temperature and ensure dry skin.

Wet skin significantly reduces the effect. Do not wash the skin before use, allow sweaty skin to dry first. 

The calluses and the solution need contact! If only drops actually reach the calluses, this can have no effect. Make sure that the solution reaches the calluses sufficiently and can work for minutes.

It‘s no use letting it work too long. Also not with strong calluses. The solution softens the callus and after the peak of softening it dries again. Follow the instructions.  

Your dead skin is like a sponge. In order for the Mr. Fuss solution to soften it, the solution must enter the structure. Strong calluses absorb more solution. If the skin (and cotton wool) is already too dry within the exposure time, it may have to be soaked again.
